I've been here twice . Once in the summer when I sat out front with my husband on the patio for brunch both had great meals and cocktails. The other time inside during the winter when I was alone so I sat reading my book with a glass of wine and ordered their homemade pasta in the main seating area. Both times had an amazing meal. Felt like a little escape! Will definitely be going back.

Frenchie Wine Bistro is an adorable spot. We were in the back room (almost with a sunroom feel) that had the cutest view. This would be a great first date spot! The food was all really, really good. The cheese, while you don't get much of it, was so delicious. The salmon and risotto were also perfectly cooked and really flavorful. I'd highly recommend this place! It's very small, the waitstaff was very nice. We got here early so it wasn't super busy, but with so few tables I can imagine it could be hard to get in.

We booked Frenchies for thanksgiving night after seeing good reviews and that they would be open. We were seated right away with our reservation. The ambience was really cute. To start we ordered brussel sprouts and I asked if the bartender could make me a gin fizz, which they did. The brussel sprouts were very interesting with currants and black garlic aioli. The currants added a bright taste to them. For my entree I ordered steak frites with a side of truffle risotto. The steak was cooked medium as I wanted, the risotto had a nice truffle taste and the fries were crispy and delicious. For dessert we ordered a Nutella chocolate mousse. The mousse was very rich and creamy and not too overdone with the Nutella taste. My only complaint is that service was super slow. We did not really see our server much. It did get busy towards the end of our dinner but we waited awhile to get waters refilled and our dessert. I wanted another drink but we were not seen til dessert. I'm sure this is very cute during he day with the greenhouse.

Frenchie Wine Bistro is an absolute gem in the heart of the South End! From the moment you walk in, the cozy yet chic ambiance draws you in. They even decorated for Halloween which contributed to the fun atmosphere. They had a great playlist going and not too loud. The staff was warm, attentive, and kind. I ordered the nutella crepe with a side of crispy bacon and red potatoes which was out of this world. The fruit on the crepe was fresh and the nutella was rich. The bacon and potatoes were perfection and well seasoned. My friend ordered the eggs benedict with a side of french fries, white toast and avocado which she said was one of the best she's ever had. My other friend ordered the traditional onion soup with a side of french fries - perfect for a fall day and great flavor! As for drinks, we ordered mimosas and raspberry bellinis, they were basic but great. I would definitely come back for another brunch outing or to even try dinner for a date night!

A local suggested Frenchie for Sunday brunch before we headed home. It's a cute place with outdoor seating and a garden room in the back. With the kitchen in the middle, it was pretty toasty there. We enjoyed the cool air in the garden room. There were maybe eight tables occupied when we arrived at 10:30am. There wasn't much energy or excitement in the place. A Mimosa was a great way to start our meal. For our meal, we started with the Traditional Onion Soup that was served nuclear hot. It was beautifully presented and yummy!. I had read the Eggs Benedict were excellent and they lived up to their reviews. I probably would have enjoyed it more if I hadn't ordered fries with it.

Delicious breakfast/brunch French bistro (on Saturdays & Sundays). You have the option to sit outside or inside, or in the back Greenhouse (sunny but air conditioned). Make a reservation on the weekend, it gets packed! Large selection of cocktails and coffees, as well as French-inspired sandwiches, salads, breads, and egg Benedicts. I ate the lobster eggs Benedict and really liked it. Not much lobster meat, but the poached eggs were cooked perfectly, the lobster was tender, and the hollandaise sauce was thick and creamy. I always appreciate when the sauce is made correctly and is creamy, not a broken thin sauce. Really enjoyed the ambiance and the food here, and would definitely return!
